About the Project

PARKINGHUB

ParkingHub is a multi-tenant parking platform built for Denmark, giving each location its own subdomain with dedicated renter and holder experiences. Renters discover areas, search availability, and pay through Stripe and MobilePay — while holders manage slots, approve bookings, and collect earnings via Stripe Connect. Operators provision new tenants from the admin panel, with the same booking engine on web and native mobile.

Unpacking the architecture, innovations, and real-world results

01

Technical Architecture

Built on Next.js and NestJS with PostgreSQL, ParkingHub uses row-level tenant isolation so each location runs on its own subdomain without separate infrastructure. Tenant identity resolves from the hostname, with wildcard *.parkinghub.dk support and admin-provisioned parking areas. Cross-domain SSO keeps users signed in as they move from parkinghub.dk to tenant sites. Stripe handles Checkout, MobilePay, and Connect payouts, with Socket.IO and push notifications for booking updates.

Web Platform

On the web, renters pick their city and area, search by date and time, and complete bookings with Stripe Checkout. Holders manage availability, approve requests, and track earnings from a dedicated dashboard. Admins provision new tenant locations, oversee bookings, and process payouts from a unified control panel.

Mobile App — Renters

The iOS and Android apps give renters the same booking flow on the go — browse tenant parking areas, search available slots, track active and past bookings, and pay securely with Stripe. Push notifications keep users updated on approvals, reminders, and booking status changes.

Mobile App — Vendors

Vendors manage parking slots, review incoming requests, and monitor earnings directly from mobile. List availability, approve or reject bookings, and request payouts through Stripe Connect — with the same tenant-aware experience as the web dashboard.

Results & Impact

ParkingHub turned parking into a scalable multi-tenant product for Denmark — new locations go live from the admin panel without redeploys. Automated reminders and booking lifecycle rules reduce manual ops for every tenant. Holders get self-service payouts while operators retain platform oversight across web and mobile.
