About the Project
TapNFC was built to remove the friction between physical materials and changing digital information. Instead of reprinting a card, menu, sign, or product label whenever a destination changes, users create a QR code or NFC-enabled link once and manage its destination from the web. The platform brings onboarding, code generation, link editing, customer profiles, and record management into a straightforward experience designed for non-technical users and everyday business operations.

Unpacking the architecture, innovations, and real-world results
The platform combines a React and Next.js frontend with Node.js services and Firebase infrastructure. Firestore supports user, profile, QR, and NFC records; Firebase Auth secures account access; and deployment through Firebase and Vercel keeps the responsive experience fast and readily extensible for analytics, campaigns, and branded landing pages.
Dynamic QR generation and NFC link handling separate the physical touchpoint from its digital destination. Users can create a code, choose where it should lead, and later update that destination without replacing printed materials or reprogramming the wider customer journey.
A focused management view gives each user a clear inventory of their active records, destinations, and available actions. Multiple links can be reviewed, edited, downloaded, and maintained from the same dashboard, making the platform practical for businesses running several profiles, products, menus, or campaigns.
The visual editor lets users shape the page behind a scan or tap with content blocks, social links, media, and reusable elements. A live preview keeps the result understandable while editing, so branded digital experiences can be assembled without specialist design or development knowledge.
Customer profiles, account controls, and administrative management sit inside the same responsive product. The result is a simple operating layer for creating and maintaining digital identities while preserving room for future tracking, reporting, campaign organization, and deeper platform controls.
